I went to a martial arts black belt grading event today and a gentleman professed a very powerful statement. “FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED”.
It does not matter how long it takes but just finish it. This 100SAS movement is a reminder of this absolute must. I would never have imagined day 56 and I’m still in this game. And the best part is I started journey with very different goals than the majority and continue with the same mindset. I don’t have tons of weight to lose, Im not new to fitness so I don’t need a push to workout, I’m not new to healthy eating so I don’t so much need help in that area either, I’m not even new to women empowerment or connecting or networking.. I have a huge support system already. My journey is literally about the consistency, the learning to organize and prioritize the things that mean alot to me. Ie. Fitness. I literally have committed to working my day around health promoting movements….and I don’t feel guilty for doing it. I leave the chores, I leave the casual phone calls and ig scrolling, I even will negotiate time with my family to work around 100SAS. At the end of the day it had been the reminder, the accountability, the validation I needed to respect my body and treat it like a temple always… Not sometimish… But always.
I will finish what I started not on day 100 tho… Much past that. My legacy. My footprint to my last breath will include a hoorah for all eagles soaring high passionate for living optimally.
