Wow, it’s already the end of week 3! Oh how time flies! I can’t belive we’re already at our first milestone.
What I have learned this week is to listen to your body. I experienced a physical challenge that caused me to miss a couple workouts, but in the long run it was better that I rested instead of jeopardizing my health.
I’ve also learned that it’s important for me to get my workouts completed in the morning. Come evening, it’s extremely hard for me to get my workouts in because of work, night school and other commitments.
The changes I’ve noticed is that I am much stronger than when I first started. Just today I was telling my brother that I started my walks at level 2.7 and now I am up to 3.7. I’ve also been able to keep a strong and steady pace on my bike. I’m excited that my cardiovascular strength is increasing and I’m excited to incorporate weights into my routine.
Lastly, I really need to focus on my eating habits. I have lost about 6 pounds so far, but I know that could be improved by making better food choices with all of my meals and I need to stop eating any food by 7:30/8pm. This week I am going to focus on ensuring that I am not partaking in any “late night snacking”. On to week 4! 😁💪🏾
