Let’s face it – a lot of things are happening that we think are too big to handle. From current events, to our own personal lives, we have all been in a position where we have felt overwhelmed. The days are also getting shorter here in North America. As a result, our mental health is being challenged by reduced daylight.
A powerful video was recently spotted on Instagram and we think it is timely for where we are at. Click on the link below to view it.
David Goggins really gets to the point when he speaks about the brain being powerful. It is another way of reminding us that thoughts become things.
Here are some ideas on how to leverage your brain in order to elevate:
- Journal your thoughts.
- Set aside some time for self-care and stillness.
- Move your body. The rush of endorphins after a gratifying movement session often inspires you to level up further.
- Connect to close friends, family, and people who see you for who you are. They can be great allies and hold you accountable to your personal growth.
- If you are struggling, seek help from a trusted professional. A neutral listening ear from a professional is often all you need in order to set yourself back on the right path.
